Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is an Angel tribal lifegain grind that wins by building a board of Angels and draining opponents whenever you gain life. Liesa, Forgotten Archangel acts as a repeatable recursion engine that returns your nontoken creatures to hand and exiles opponents' creatures that die, while also providing a flying lifelink body. The hidden engine is Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim and its duplicates Epicure of Blood and Marauding Blight-Priest, which turn every lifegain trigger into direct damage. Secondary paths include combat with buffed Angels via Lyra Dawnbringer and Giada, and a late Exsanguinate finisher. The deck has no infinite combos and relies on incremental value and board presence.
