Deck overview

This deck is a high-power 5-color Polymorph Control deck piloted by Jace, Multiverse Architect. By completely excluding low-cost creature and planeswalker cards from the 99, every activation of Jace's −3 ability is guaranteed to hit a massive, game-altering threat such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Consecrated Sphinx, or Hullbreaker Horror. The early game focuses on deploying efficient 2-mana ramp and persistent token generators like Bitterblossom and Skrelv's Hive. On Turn 4, Jace enters and immediately sacrifices a token to cheat a high-end permanent into play. Meanwhile, a dense suite of pillowfort enchantments (Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Trouble in Pairs) and premier interaction (Force of Negation, Dovin's Veto, Swords to Plowshares) protects Jace and your life total. The deck wins by accumulating insurmountable card and board advantage, grinding down opponents, and closing the game with overwhelming aerial combat damage.
