Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Commissar Severina Raine and operates as a go-wide token swarm and aristocrat hybrid. The primary game plan focuses on deploying efficient creature token producers such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Horn of Gondor, and Ocelot Pride during the early turns. Once a wide board is established, Commissar Severina Raine converts attacking swarms into unblockable life drain that bypasses enemy blockers and damages every opponent simultaneously. Secondary drain pieces like Mirkwood Bats, Corpse Knight, and Throne of the God-Pharaoh accelerate this clock, while Severina's sacrifice ability replenishes cards to maintain gas. The deck protects its vulnerable token armies with high-grade defensive spells such as Clever Concealment and Unbreakable Formation, and clears opposing threats with token-friendly sweepers like Hour of Reckoning. The deck reliably assembles by Turn 4, creates decisive lethal pressure by Turn 6, and eliminates all opponents on Turn 7.
