Deck overview

Lathliss, Dragon Queen leads a creature-heavy mono-red Dragon deck. The plan is to accelerate with Sol Ring, mana rocks, and Dragon cost reducers, then deploy Lathliss, Dragon Queen followed by large Dragons. Each nontoken Dragon creates a 5/5 token, allowing the deck to build a wide flying board. Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, Warstorm Surge, and Crucible of Fire convert that board into damage, while Utvara Hellkite and extra-combat Dragons increase the combat payoff. Selection comes mainly from Orb of Dragonkind, Herald's Horn, and Dragon-based card flow rather than broad tutors. The deck has useful creature and artifact removal, but no countermagic or sustained denial. Its ordinary win is a turn-9 pressure state followed by several combat steps, not a compact combo. It is vulnerable to sweepers, commander removal, and inconsistent access to both its token engine and damage payoffs.
