Ureni O Lagartao by user7464917

Format: Commander

Commander: Ureni of the Unwritten

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ureni of the Unwritten is a battlefield tutor for Dragons, and the deck is built to accelerate into Ureni, then chain its enter/attack triggers into a swarm of powerful Dragons. The primary plan is ramp Ureni (or Miirym first) flood the board with Dragons and close via extra combat + double strike. Secondary paths include hard-cast or resurrected Dragons, copies from Miirym, Elvish Piper, and Smuggler's Surprise. The commander is the engine; the deck is set up to make the most of its repeated top-eight triggers. Miirym is effectively the hidden commander, because a copied Ureni doubles the number of triggers and turns a single Scourge of the Throne into a game-ending extra-combat chain.
