Deck overview

This deck is a four-color cheat-into-play archetype helmed by Nissa, Leyline Tamer. By completely omitting small utility creatures, every creature card in the 99 is an overwhelming high-mana bomb, including Archfiend of Despair, Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, and Darksteel Angel. The early game focuses on deploying 2-CMC mana acceleration and generating token fodder through enchantments and instants like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Lingering Souls. On Turn 5, the deck casts Nissa or an alternate mass-polymorph spell to convert land drops or disposable tokens into massive flying threats. Opponents face severe combat pressure paired with asymmetric attrition, closing the game around Turn 8. While the deck boasts immense board presence and robust recovery routes, its primary vulnerability lies in a lack of cheap stack interaction, leaving it exposed to fast non-creature combo lines.
