Deck overview

This deck is led by Kudo, King Among Bears, turning the battlefield into an equalizer where all other creatures become base 2/2 Bears. While this shrinks opposing giants and commanders down to manageable sizes, your deck leverages asymmetric layer interactions through static anthems, +1/+1 counters, and token swarms. Cards like Master Chef, Good-Fortune Unicorn, Loyal Guardian, and Felidar Retreat ensure your Bears immediately outgrow opposing 2/2s. Meanwhile, Ayula, Queen Among Bears turns every creature drop into a fight trigger to systematically wipe opposing utility creatures. The deck accelerates in the early turns using efficient mana dorks and ramp sorceries, establishes an army of modified Bears by Turn 4, and pushes for lethal combat around Turn 6 with overrun effects like Beastmaster Ascension, Overrun, or evasion from Abzan Falconer and Champion of Lambholt. With resilient protection in Inspiring Call and Unbreakable Formation, it overwhelms the table through relentless, buffed combat pressure.
