Deck overview

This mono-black deck combines self-mill, aristocrats sacrifice loops, and potent reanimation under the helm of Liliana the Repentant. The strategy centers on rapidly filling the graveyard through low-cost mill enablers like Stitcher's Supplier, Mire Triton, and Liliana's passive trigger. Once high-impact threats are in the graveyard, the deck uses low-cost reanimation spells (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Victimize) and mass reanimation (Living Death, Rise of the Dark Realms) to cheat massive mana costs. Life totals are pressured simultaneously across all opponents through drain triggers from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Syr Konrad, the Grim, reinforced by asymmetric board control from Massacre Girl and Massacre Wurm. With multiple overlapping recursion paths, the deck operates with extreme resilience against creature removal while applying steady attrition to opposing boards.
