Dragonstorm + Astral Slide

Format: Commander

Commander: Shiko, Paragon of the Way

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shiko, Paragon of the Way commands a Jeskai cycling-blink control deck that wins through high-output Dragon burn and aerial combat. The primary strategy uses cycling enchantments Astral Slide and Astral Drift alongside Fluctuator to repeatedly flicker enters-the-battlefield creatures. Shiko provides continuous value by copying cheap utility spells and card draw like See the Truth from the graveyard whenever it enters. The deck transitions into late-game dominance by deploying Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen. Flickering Dragons or casting Dragonstorm triggers massive bursts of direct damage while an evasive aerial fleet cleans up remaining life totals.
