Commander: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black "draw-punisher" deck helmed by Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, built to convert every single card drawn by any player into damage, life, or both. The primary kill is an infinite drain: any "whenever you gain life, each opponent loses life" effect (Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Marauding Blight-Priest, Enduring Tenacity) paired with any "whenever an opponent loses life, you gain that much life" effect (Exquisite Blood, Bloodthirsty Conqueror) forms a mandatory loop that ends the table. In the mid-game, Sheoldred plus a dense group-draw package - Font of Mythos, Howling Mine, Temple Bell, Teferi's Puzzle Box, Seizan, Perverter of Truth - drains opponents for each card while refunding you life, and big X-draw spells like Peer into the Abyss and Damnable Pact become one-shot kills with Psychosis Crawler or Lich's Mastery on board. The land base leans on Cabal Coffers, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, Crypt Ghast, and K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth to power all of it.
