Izzet SpellsSlinger by LucasZ

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet, Parun

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck uses Niv-Mizzet, Parun as both draw engine and finisher. Every instant or sorcery you cast draws a card with Niv, and every card you draw deals 1 damage to any target. The primary win is an infinite loop: enchant Niv with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout so damage draws a card and drawing deals damage. Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind serves as a hidden commander that creates the same loop without Parun. Secondary paths grind with pingers like Guttersnipe, Kessig Flamebreather, and Ral, Storm Conduit, token makers like Talrand and Young Pyromancer, and Jace, Wielder of Mysteries as a deck-out backup.
