Sylgar my beloved by Yuchini

Format: Commander

Commander: Xanathar, Guild Kingpin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Dimir control deck uses Xanathar, Guild Kingpin as a repeatable theft and soft lock. On each upkeep you shut one opponent out of casting spells and play the top card of their library for free color fixing. The main plan ramps to six mana, protects Xanathar, and grinds value with redundant thieves. Secondary paths win without Xanathar through independent engines like Tasha, the Witch Queen, Elder Brain, Mind's Dilation, and Bribery that steal spells and permanents on their own. Xanathar is the primary engine but not a combo piece, and there is no hidden commander. The deck has no infinite combo and wins by accumulating opponents' best cards and finishing with combat.
