Deck overview

Aerid Konstrari commands a Gruul artifact-token midrange deck designed to generate overwhelming mana and close games through massive combat overruns and direct burn. The strategy accelerates in the opening turns with efficient green and artifact ramp to deploy Aerid by Turn 3. Once on the battlefield, Aerid provides an immediate Heartwood artifact token that produces red or green mana. The deck capitalizes on cheap clone spells like Molten Duplication, Twinflame, and Heat Shimmer; due to the legend rule, each clone enters to trigger a Heartwood token and immediately dies to generate another, yielding rapid ramp and high artifact density. Standout support pieces such as Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and Roxanne, Starfall Savant supercharge this mana engine. By Turn 6, the deck converts its artifact board into lethal finishes via Craterclaw Colossus, Depthshaker Titan, or sweeping burn from Chandra's Ignition and Crackle with Power, reliably closing out the table by Turn 7.
