Smaug the Magnificent (Treasure Overload) by user5218577

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Treasure-fueled mono-red deck that wants to bury opponents under Treasure tokens, then convert that mass into damage through Smaug's attack trigger or into an extra-combat loop. Smaug is a flying, hasty beater who creates a Treasure each upkeep and pings any target for each Treasure on attack; Roaming Throne, Xorn, and damage multipliers turn that ping into a table-killing shot. Secondary paths are Aggravated Assault plus Ancient Copper Dragon (or Treasure-producing equipment) for unlimited combats, and Hellkite Tyrant's artifact count win. Equipment gives Smaug evasion and protection, but the deck sinks if artifact/enchantment hate lands or the combo pieces are removed. There is no double-faced commander; There and Back Again can create a second Smaug token as a creature, not a hidden commander.
