Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Jeskai artifact aggro deck commanded by Optimus Prime, Hero // Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader. The game plan focuses on casting low-cost artifact creatures and mana rocks during the early turns, followed by casting Optimus Prime converted using its More Than Meets the Eye ability on Turn 4. Once on the battlefield, Optimus distributes +1/+1 counters on attack and end steps, rapidly growing your board. Proliferate cards like Inexorable Tide and Thrummingbird accelerate this growth, while payoff cards like Lux Artillery, Kappa Cannoneer, and Alibou, Ancient Witness convert counter volume into unblockable attacks and direct burn. Built-in protection from Bronze Guardian and Padeem, Consul of Innovation shields your artifacts, and Optimus Prime's death-trigger recursion provides natural resilience against board wipes. The deck consistently establishes a must-answer combat presence by Turn 6 and closes out the game around Turn 8.
