Deck overview

This is a Dwarf tribal deck helmed by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, built around generating Treasure tokens and turning a wide board of Dwarves into an overwhelming combat force. The commander's ETB and static pump ability reward each Dwarf that enters, while the "Storied" mechanic on several legendary Dwarves (Balin, Loremaster, Bifur, Melodic Rider, Dain, Lord of the Iron Hills) provides additional value once the deck controls three or more artifacts, legendaries, or Sagas-a condition easily met through Treasures and Equipment. The primary win condition is combat damage, accelerated by extra combat effects from Scourge of the Throne and Bifur, Melodic Rider's trigger doubling. A small Dragon subtheme (Cavern-Hoard Dragon, Smaug, the Great Calamity) offers alternate finishers. The deck plays a midrange, value-oriented game, relying on incremental advantage from Treasures and Equipment to outpace opponents.
