Deck overview

This deck is a high-power competitive Commander build centered on Urza, Lord High Artificer. It converts cheap artifacts and explosive mana rocks into massive blue mana velocity. The primary game plan uses Polymorph or Proteus Staff on Urza's Construct token to guarantee putting either Hullbreaker Horror or Tidespout Tyrant onto the battlefield, since they are the only creature cards in the 99. Once in play, bouncing and recasting positive-mana artifacts generates infinite mana and clears all opposing boards. Urza then activates his exile ability infinitely to play the entire deck and mill opponents with Codex Shredder. Backup win conditions include Power Artifact on Grim Monolith or Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal. The deck protects its speed with a premier suite of free counterspells like Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship, making it extremely fast, resilient, and decisive.
