Tarot 1 by PoloND

Format: Commander

Commander: Massimo, the Magician

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Massimo, the Magician helms a Jeskai "spells-on-a-stick" tempo engine. Whenever a creature enters, Massimo exiles a one-mana instant or sorcery from the graveyard and attaches its copy-on-combat-damage ability to that creature. The deck stocks its yard with cheap cantrips, burn, and Great Train Heist, then deploys evasive carriers like Invisible Stalker, Slither Blade, and Hardened Academic to turn a single connected swing into a copied-spell chain: extra combats, Storm-Kiln Artist treasures, cards from Vega, the Watcher and Archmage Emeritus, and table-wide damage from Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Fiery Inscription. Twinning Staff doubles every copy while Harmonic Prodigy and Delney, Streetwise Lookout double the triggers. The primary kill is the Great Train Heist extra-combat chain fueled by copied Boltwave; Prismari, the Inspiration offers a late-game storm overrun. Fast, fragile, and heavily rewarded for precise sequencing.
