Flickering Shards by Adalae

Format: Commander

Commander: Niko, Light of Hope

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Azorius deck helmed by Niko, Light of Hope is a flicker-artifact midrange engine that converts ETB value, token multiplication, and myriad combat into multiplayer kills. Niko enters with two Shard tokens for scry-draw fuel and then flickers nonlegendary creatures so those Shards temporarily become copies of the exiled body-turning any strong ETB or attacker into a temporary army. The 99 backs this with dense blink engines (Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, Conjurer's Closet, Teleportation Circle, Soulherder, Deadeye Navigator), artifact cost reduction and cheating (Etherium Sculptor, Master Transmuter, Encroaching Mycosynth), and a heavy myriad package (Blade of Selves, Cybermen Squadron, Auton Soldier, Legion Loyalty, Battle Angels of Tyr). Token doublers Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Exalted Sunborn explode the combat math. Primary wins are infect via copied Blightsteel Colossus and overwhelming myriad swings; secondary paths are value loops into Akroma's Will or overloaded Cyclonic Rift clean-up.
