Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis wheels and discard control deck commanded by Kefka, Court Mage. It accelerates mana on early turns using efficient mana rocks, then deploys powerful asymmetric payoffs such as Waste Not, Liliana's Caress, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Notion Thief. On turns 4 and 5, it resolves mass discard spells or commander attacks to strip opponents' hands, drain life totals, and generate overwhelming card and mana advantages. Symmetrical wheels like Dark Deal and Windfall break parity completely when paired with Tergrid, God of Fright or Archfiend of Ifnir, locking opponents out of resources and clearing their boards. The deck closes games through relentless combat damage from Zombie tokens and large creatures, recurring burn from Tinybones, Trinket Thief, or an infinite mana and flicker loop with Dualcaster Mage and Ghostly Flicker. A dense suite of low-cost counterspells protects its proactive turns while maintaining disruption against opposing wins.
