Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red aggressive midrange strategy led by Vaan, Street Thief. It focuses on deploying low-cost Outlaws (Scouts, Pirates, and Rogues) to trigger Vaan's combat ability early, stealing opposing cards and generating a steady flow of Treasure tokens. As you cast spells you do not own, Vaan steadily grows your entire board with +1/+1 counters, transforming small utility creatures into potent threats. The deck leverages heavy Treasure production to fix mana for stolen spells and fuel explosive turns with cards like Professional Face-Breaker, Xorn, and Swashbuckler Extraordinaire. Redundancy in theft effects like Breeches, Brazen Plunderer, Grenzo, Havoc Raiser, and Etali, Primal Storm keeps card advantage flowing even if the commander is removed. Games are closed out through overwhelming combat steps, utilizing Port Razer and Great Train Heist alongside evasion and double strike.
