Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul exile-matters engine led by Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald. It accelerates early with efficient mana dorks, land ramp, and cost-reducers before casting Faldorn on Turn 3. The deck leverages impulse draw spells, cascade triggers, and exile mechanics to generate massive card velocity while flooding the battlefield with 2/2 Wolf tokens. Damage enablers like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Agate Instigator convert every token entry into noncombat burn against all opponents. Overrun finishers such as End-Raze Forerunners and high-impact threats like Etali, Primal Conqueror provide decisive combat finishes. The deck also includes an infinite creature mana and token combo via Food Chain with Squee, the Immortal or Eternal Scourge. Interaction is robust against permanents through Force of Vigor and Beast Within, with protective spells ensuring resilience against board wipes.
