Ops, all ramp! Sorin by user9376147

Format: Commander

Commander: Sorin of House Markov // Sorin, Ravenous Neonate

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Orzhov list is built around Sorin's planeswalker side: the creature front's lifelink and extort flip him into Sorin, Ravenous Neonate after 3 life in a turn, and the planeswalker back converts that same-turn life gain into direct damage with his -1. Secondary paths are white token swarms and X-drain spells such as Debt to the Deathless and the repeatable Exsanguinate. The hidden engine is Azor's Gateway // Sanctum of the Sun, which turns life total into the massive mana needed for a one-turn kill. The deck plays as a life-gain/artifact-ramp engine that chips with extort, catches up with draw, then closes with a giant X spell.
