Deck overview

This Golgari tribal deck harnesses the trigger-doubling ability of Chief of the Wilds to create an overwhelming wolf pack bolstered by +1/+1 counters. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through dorks like Fanatic of Rhonas and Biophagus. By Turn 4, the commander enters alongside continuous token engines such as Chief Warg's Company or static amplifiers like Branching Evolution. The deck hits critical onset on Turn 5 by resolving explosive multipliers like Hollowhenge Overlord or Kindred Summons. With doubled triggers, the wolf pack scales exponentially in both power and numbers. The deck converts this immense board into victory by attacking across Turns 6 and 7, granting evasion through trample, fear, or unblockable effects. Heavy protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Asceticism shield the creatures from opposing wipes, while high-velocity draw engines ensure the hand remains fully stocked.
