Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated mono-black aristocrats combo list that leverages sacrifice engines, graveyard recursion, and fast mana to close out games rapidly. While Avacyn, Angel of Horror sits in the command zone as an 8-mana late-game recursion engine, the deck functions primarily as a low-to-the-ground combo shell. It utilizes efficient sacrifice outlets like Warren Soultrader and Phyrexian Altar alongside Gravecrawler and blood-artist drain effects to generate infinite death triggers and drain the entire table in a single turn. Dense black ramp, cheap tutors, and burst draw engines such as Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and Skullclamp ensure consistent assembly by turn 4. In backup lines, the deck reanimates massive Demons like Razaketh, the Foulblooded and Vilis, Broker of Blood to assemble wins from the graveyard.
