Format: Commander

Commander: Queen Marchesa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Queen Marchesa leads a Mardu politics/aggro build that uses the monarch to fuel card draw while goading opponents into attacking each other. The primary plan is to resolve an early Marchesa, protect the monarchy with pillowfort and removal, then close with combat damage multiplied by Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and double-strike effects. Secondary lines include grinding with Breena, Shadrix, and Wedding Ring, plus a Sunforger toolbox for instant-speed answers. Sifa Grent is a possible alternate commander but not the deck's focus. The deck is resilient and interactive rather than fast, relying on incremental advantage before a mid-game alpha strike.
