Commander: Lightning, Army of One

Deck overview

Lightning, Army of One is a single-faced Boros equipment-voltron commander whose Stagger ability doubles all subsequent damage to a player, turning double-strike combat into a one-shot commander-damage kill. The deck's primary plan is to suit Lightning with double strike and power-doubling equipment, then finish with 21+ commander damage. Secondary paths are Kiki-Jiki-based infinite combos (with Combat Celebrant or Village Bell-Ringer) and Godo + Helm of the Host infinite combat loops. Aurelia, Godo, Moraug, and Port Razer provide extra combat steps that multiply Stagger triggers. There is no hidden commander; the list is built around Lightning's damage-doubling payoff, with Kiki-Jiki as the main alternate engine.
