Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Black Zombie Tribal and Aristocrats strategy led by Loot, the Anomaly. Loot serves as an unusual and potent commander damage finisher, leveraging Threshold to sacrifice creature tokens and shrink his power into deeply negative numbers, which his static ability converts into massive positive combat damage. The 99 functions as a classic, resilient Zombie army loaded with recursive threats like Gravecrawler, token engines like Diregraf Colossus and Grave Titan, and powerful lords including Death Baron and Undead Warchief. Card velocity is sustained through sacrifice engines such as Ayara, First of Locthwain, Undead Augur, and Cryptbreaker. While the deck lacks high-speed tutors and stack countermagic, it compensates with immense board resilience, asymmetric board suppression via Noxious Ghoul and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, and explosive table-wide drain from Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Vengeful Dead to close games over successive combat and sacrifice cycles.
