Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Boros Dwarf tribal strategy commanded by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The primary game plan curves out low-cost Dwarf creatures and mana rocks during the early turns before casting Thorin on Turn 4 or 5. Thorin acts as both an economy engine and a combat multiplier, creating a Treasure token whenever a Dwarf enters the battlefield and granting all other Dwarves +1/+0 for every artifact token under your control. By hoarding Treasures, the deck turns small utility Dwarves into massive combat threats capable of dealing over 40 aggregate damage on Turn 6. Backup win conditions include alternate anthems like Door of Destinies, direct group burn through Dáin of the Ancient Halls and Balin, Loremaster, and an alternate win condition via Hellkite Tyrant. While highly synergistic and resilient to commander removal thanks to redundant anthem effects, the deck remains vulnerable to mass board wipes and lacks stack-based countermagic.
