Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Orzhov midrange combo strategy built around Ketramose, the New Dawn. It turns routine exile triggers—both from graveyards and the battlefield—into recurring card advantage and life-drain velocity. The early game focuses on deploying efficient 2-drop ramp and continuous exile enablers like Lion Sash, Phelia, Exuberant Shepherd, and Ghost Vacuum to establish a stable draw engine by Turn 4. In the mid-game, the deck disrupts opponents using asymmetric taxing pieces such as Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, Planar Void, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Kambal, Consul of Allocation, alongside premium 0-1 CMC removal like Swords to Plowshares and Deadly Rollick.
