Dwarves by trukzor

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield leads a Boros Dwarf/Equipment deck that wins by turning one heavily equipped Dwarf sideways. The commander is a support piece: his storied ward makes the board hard to interact with, while Kili, Bruenor, and Reyav turn Equipment into card advantage, free equips, and double strike. The primary plan is to assemble three historic permanents, suit up Thorin (or another Dwarf) with multiple Equipment, and one-shot opponents with commander damage. Secondary paths use Treasure generation from Magda, Thorin King, and Orcrist to tutor or cast Mjolnir/Embercleave, plus Balin and Smaug as reach. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around the Dwarf/Equipment shell, not around Thorin Oakenshield specifically.
