Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu Vampire tribal and aggro-aristocrats strategy built around Edgar Markov. By leveraging Edgar's Eminence ability from the command zone, every Vampire spell cast creates an additional 1/1 Vampire creature token without requiring extra mana. The deck curves low-cost creatures into play on Turns 1 through 3 to swarm the board, transitioning into critical damage onset on Turn 4 with explosive combat amplifiers such as Shared Animosity, lord buffs from Stromkirk Captain and Legion Lieutenant, and counter distribution from Cordial Vampire. Aristocrat payoffs like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Sanctum Seeker provide non-combat reach and punish board wipes, while Skullclamp and Welcoming Vampire maintain steady card advantage. Supported by versatile Mardu removal and protection spells like Boros Charm, the deck reliably eliminates all three opponents by Turn 6.
