Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Spellslinger Storm build led by Codie, Ravenous Codex. It blends spell-duplication synergy from creature prepare cards with compact graveyard storm combos. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through fast artifacts and deploying early prepare creatures like Emeritus of Ideation // Ancestral Recall or casting Codie, Ravenous Codex. Once setup mana and cards are accessible, the deck pivots into its primary win condition: resolving Underworld Breach alongside Lion's Eye Diamond and Brain Freeze. This loop mills the entire library, culminating in an instant win through Thassa's Oracle. Secondary engines like Vivi Ornitier, Displacer Kitten, and The One Ring provide explosive card advantage and alternative spell-based damage lines if the main combo is contested. While the deck boasts high tutor density and blistering same-turn lethality, its basic-heavy mana base and lack of stax pieces make it a purely proactive race deck.
