Mizzix by Sizzle

Format: Commander

Commander: Mizzix of the Izmagnus

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mizzix of the Izmagnus is a spellslinger value engine. The primary plan is to put Mizzix into play early, feed experience counters with cheap instants and sorceries, then use the discount to chain zero-cost cantrips. At six counters, Whispers of the Muse has buyback for {0}, and Storm-Kiln Artist turns each cast into Treasure, enabling Banefire or Crackle with Power to finish the whole table. Secondary lines use Young Pyromancer, Metallurgic Summonings, and Thousand-Year Storm for token or copy pressure, and High Tide plus untap spells for a big-mana X-spell kill. There is no hidden commander; Mizzix is the engine that makes every line work.
