Deck overview

This deck is a focused X-cost hydra tribal strategy centered around Zaxara, the Exemplary as a mana engine and token factory. The primary plan involves ramping heavily, casting Zaxara to accelerate further, then deploying huge X-value hydras such as Primordial Hydra, Kalonian Hydra, and Hydroid Krasis. Each X spell generates a growing hydra token, which then gets massively buffed by counter-doubling effects like Invigorating Surge, Fang of Kalonia, and Growth Curve. The deck aims to win through overwhelming combat damage by going wide with tokens or going tall with a single enormous hydra, supported by Unbound Flourishing to double the X. There is no infinite combo; the win condition is purely combat based.
