Deck overview

This Golgari deck uses Chatterfang, Squirrel General as a token multiplier, sacrifice outlet, and board control engine. It accelerates through format-staple fast mana such as Chrome Mox, Sol Ring, and Dark Ritual to deploy early threats and tutors. The primary win condition relies on compact sacrifice combos, most notably resolving Protean Hulk or assembling Warren Soultrader alongside Gravecrawler and Zulaport Cutthroat to drain all opponents infinitely on Turn 3. It also features redundant token combos like Ivy Lane Denizen with Scurry Oak and Pitiless Plunderer with Chatterfang. Supported by powerful card engines like Skullclamp, The One Ring, and Necropotence, the deck quickly refills its hand and recovers from disruption. Protection cards like Allosaurus Shepherd and Veil of Summer defend key plays, while free and low-cost interaction cleanly disrupts opposing plans.
