Deck overview

This deck is a classic competitive mono-blue control and combo strategy commanded by Teferi, Temporal Archmage. The primary game plan seeks to ramp aggressively using low-cost mana rocks, deploy asymmetric stax pieces to stall faster opponents, and execute a compact two-card infinite combo with The Chain Veil. Because Teferi resides in the command zone, the deck only needs to locate The Chain Veil using a dense suite of artifact tutors such as Transmute Artifact, Fabricate, and Whir of Invention. Once assembled, Teferi untaps The Chain Veil alongside high-yield mana rocks to generate infinite mana and infinite planeswalker loyalty activations. This draws the entire library and wins on the spot with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. Backed by free countermagic like Force of Will and oppressive lock pieces like Back to Basics and Karn, the Great Creator, the deck controls the table before executing a protected, same-turn victory.
