Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Dimir discard and graveyard velocity engine commanded by Oskar, Rubbish Reclaimer. The strategy revolves around deploying cheap repeatable looters to stock the graveyard with cards of varying mana values, reducing Oskar's casting cost to as little as two mana. Once assembled on Turn 4, Oskar bypasses normal timing restrictions by letting you cast nonland cards immediately as they are discarded. The deck converts card filtering into massive tempo and card advantage, using cards like Secrets of the Dead and Containment Construct to fuel explosive turns. It transitions into a win on Turn 6 by establishing asymmetric creature locks with Archfiend of Ifnir, reanimating high-impact threats with Breach the Multiverse, or executing an infinite card draw combo with Mind Over Matter and The One Ring into Thassa's Oracle. High-grade countermagic and removal protect the board as evasive attackers and drain triggers close the game by Turn 8.
