Deck overview

This is a five-color turbo-combo deck built around Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. Its strongest hands use zero- and one-mana acceleration, a tutor, and a compact turn-3 win while keeping free or one-mana protection available. The deck has unusually strong access: generic tutors find either combo role, creature tutors find Thassa's Oracle, and Mystical Tutor finds the library-exile spell. Its main weakness is that the primary line still needs both colored mana and both cards together; a tutor only solves one missing role. Necropotence, Mystic Remora, Wheel of Fortune, and Ad Nauseam provide powerful refill, while Underworld Breach and Brain Freeze offer a slower backup. Jodah, the Unifier is largely separate from the compact combo and is not required for the primary win. The deck is highly explosive and interactive, but the Oracle line remains vulnerable to correctly timed counterspells, removal, and graveyard disruption affecting the backup plan.
