Deck overview

This is an Abzan "toughness matters" deck built around Felothar the Steadfast, whose static ability turns every bulky wall into an attacker and whose activated ability converts high-toughness bodies into burst card draw - usually with no discard, since many of the creatures have power 0. The 99 is a defender shell packed with mana dorks, ETB-draw walls, and redundant toughness-damage enablers like Doran, the Siege Tower, Bedrock Tortoise, and Baldin, Century Herdmaster. The deck wins primarily through overwhelming combat, often pivoting to drain/life-loss effects from Blight Pile, Betor, Kin to All, and Jaws of Defeat. Asymmetric board wipes like Expel the Interlopers and Slaughter the Strong spare the 0-power wall core, while Tip the Scales can turn a single giant wall into a one-sided wipe. It is a midrange/grindy strategy that punishes boards that cannot handle huge toughness values.
