Deck overview

This deck is a Bant tempo and spellslinger list helmed by Katilda and Lier. The deck combines cheap Human creatures—many with flash—with self-mill and impactful low-cost instants and sorceries. Once the commander is in play, every Human spell cast acts as a trigger to grant flashback to an instant or sorcery in the graveyard. This generates substantial card flow through spells like See the Truth and repeated interaction using cards like Swords to Plowshares and Cathar Commando. The deck operates on instant speed during opponents' turns, holding up interactive flash bodies while sculpting both hand and graveyard. It wins the game in the midgame by assembling a wide board of utility Humans and boosting their power using Candlekeep Inspiration or Akroma's Will. While it lacks heavy fast mana and compact combos, its dense defensive shielding and graveyard recursion provide outstanding resilience in fair multiplayer environments.
