Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Voltron-Aristocrats strategy commanded by Wilson, Refined Grizzly and Cultist of the Absolute. The game plan revolves around casting an uncounterable, keyword-dense Wilson on Turn 2, followed immediately by Cultist of the Absolute on Turn 3. The background transforms Wilson into a massive 5/5 flying, deathtouch, trample, vigilance threat with dual ward taxes. To mitigate Cultist's mandatory upkeep sacrifice, the deck deploys self-recurring creatures and token generators such as Bitterblossom, Ophiomancer, and Reassembling Skeleton. These sacrifice loops synergize with aristocrat engines like Grave Pact and Skullclamp to control opposing boards and replenish resources while Wilson applies lethal commander damage. Finishers like Blackblade Reforged, Commander's Plate, and Tainted Strike shorten combat clocks, allowing Wilson to eliminate players in rapid succession while maintaining an impenetrable defensive presence.
