Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Grixis discard-storm and burn strategy piloted by Norman Osborn // Green Goblin. Early turns focus on deploying low-cost mana rocks and casting Norman Osborn to sculpt the hand through unblockable combat connive triggers. Once transformed into Green Goblin on Turn 4, the commander grants every discarded nonland card mayhem and reduces graveyard casting costs by two generic mana. This transformation turns standard looting spells, rituals, and wheels into hyper-efficient mana-positive and card-positive engines. On Turn 5, the deck initiates a lethal storm turn, chaining spells from the graveyard while pingers like Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, Vivi Ornitier, and Burning Vengeance incinerate all three opponents simultaneously. The deck also includes a compact two-card infinite combo in Glint-Horn Buccaneer and Curiosity. A dense suite of free and low-cost counterspells protects the closing turn from opposing interaction.
