Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color midrange strategy built around Tazri, Stalwart Survivor. It turns every creature with an activated ability into a mana source to pay for other creature abilities, while using Tazri's five-color activated ability to mill cards and draw utility creatures. The deck develops mana on turns 1 through 3 using land ramp and ability-focused mana dorks like Omen Hawker and Katilda, Dawnhart Prime. Once Tazri is active on Turn 5, the deck generates steady card advantage and floods the battlefield with versatile creatures. Victory is achieved around Turn 7 to 9 by using excess mana on team-wide pump sinks like Warren Elder and Shatterwing Pegasus to overwhelm opponents in combat. An alternate infinite mana loop between Deathbloom Ritualist and Hapatra, the Desert Frost can also draw the deck and drain the table with Engine Rat.
