Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is an aggressive, combat-focused typal build led by Captain America, Team Leader. The strategy revolves around deploying iconic Marvel Hero creatures, which immediately gain vigilance, haste, and +1/+1 counters upon entering the battlefield under the commander's leadership. This continuous velocity allows the deck to bypass summoning sickness, applying rapid combat pressure while keeping up formidable blockers. Card advantage engines like Director Nick Fury, Jarvis, Earth's Mightiest Butler, and Kindred Discovery maintain hand size as the battlefield expands. In the mid-to-late game, the deck leverages lethal force multipliers such as War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, Thor, Asgard's Avenger, and Captain America, Wings of Freedom to scale damage outputs into table-ending attacks. One-sided sweepers like Raise the Palisade clear opposing boards without touching your Heroes, enabling decisive alpha strikes while protective tools like Spectacular Spider-Man and Captain America, Super-Soldier defend your assembled squad from opposing board wipes.
