Deck overview

This is a high-power Sultai Elf combo list built around Thranduil, the Elvenking, who inherits every activated ability of Elves in the graveyard and turns each other legendary Elf into a draw-two, discard-one engine. The 99 is classic elfball-one-drop dorks into Priest of Titania, Marwyn, the Nurturer, and Circle of Dreams Druid-lashed to a dedicated self-mill package (Buried Alive, Entomb, Hermit Druid, Mesmeric Orb, Ripples of Undeath) so the commander becomes a one-card toolbox of mana, Pod, pump, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord drains. Primary wins are Staff of Domination loops with any five-mana tapper, then drawing into Jarad or Finale of Devastation. Ezuri, Renegade Leader overruns and Magistrate-pumped Jarad shots are the backups. Thranduil is the graveyard sink and loot engine, but the Staff and Finale lines live in the 99 and do not require him.
