The Big Black Deck by DuggyMTG

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth converts life into black mana, letting this mono-black deck cast expensive spells early and turn life-draw effects (Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, Bolas's Citadel) into big card advantage. The primary plan is to assemble a life-drain loop-Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Enduring Tenacity or Sanguine Bond, or Exquisite Blood plus Sanguine Bond-and start it with a cheap Exsanguinate or Gray Merchant trigger. Secondary paths are a massive Exsanguinate fueled by Crypt Ghast/Bubbling Muck and reanimating Archon of Cruelty or Ancient Brass Dragon. K'rrik is the acceleration and card-advantage engine; there is no hidden commander.
