Thorin and The Homies by Nevian

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Boros Dwarf/Equipment deck built around Thorin Oakenshield. The main plan is to assemble an enduring story early with artifacts, legendaries, and sagas, then turn Thorin or another Dwarf into a lethal voltron threat using double strike and equipment. Treasures from Magda, Dori, and the Smaug saga fuel both equip costs and a Magda tutor that fetches Embercleave or Colossus Hammer. Secondary lines use wide Dwarf tokens or Balin's discard-draw damage, amplified by Fiery Emancipation. The commander is an efficient early target, but the deck has enough other Dwarf carriers and mass-damage tools to function without him.
