Deck overview

Toph, Greatest Earthbender leads a powerful Naya midrange-aggro strategy centered on animating lands through the earthbend mechanic and granting all land creatures double strike. The deck ramps efficiently in the opening turns with mana dorks and low-cost rocks to cast Toph on Turn 4, immediately creating a 4/4 hasty land creature that hits for 8 damage. On Turn 5, the deck escalates pressure with counter doublers and extra combat steps from threats like Bumi, Unleashed and The Earth Crystal. Built-in earthbend resilience ensures that animated lands return to the battlefield tapped when destroyed or exiled, offering natural protection against sweepers. The deck also integrates asymmetric wipes like Damning Verdict, turn-shielding via Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar, and an infinite combat combo with Ashaya, Soul of the Wild and Bumi, Unleashed. While vulnerable to spot removal on Toph before combat, the deck consistently overwhelms tables with massive, resilient double-striking land armies.
