Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck transforms library manipulation and tuck-based removal into an aggressive, evasive win condition led by Wan Shi Tong, All-Knowing. The deck operates by casting affordable mana rocks during the early turns to deploy Wan Shi Tong on curve. Upon entering, the commander removes a high-value opposing nonland permanent and immediately spawns two 1/1 Spirit tokens that cannot be blocked by non-Spirit creatures. The deck then chains tuck spells, such as Memory Lapse, Hinder, and Tolarian Contempt, which continuously disrupt opposing strategies while generating an escalating army of unblockable Spirits. Combat-damage draw engines like Curiosity Crafter and Bident of Thassa maintain hand velocity, while Spirit anthems like Patrician Geist and Supreme Phantom accelerate the clock. Although vulnerable to multi-turn board wipes, the list boasts high reactive flexibility and resilient token generation to overwhelm the table.
